Applications
EbikeScabbards™ shotgun scabbards are in use all across the US for sporting clays, trap, skeet, pheasant hunting, and turkey hunting. E-bikes are the primary vehicle of choice for our shotgun scabbards. However, as you can see in the pictures, the scabbards work equally well on a variety of other vehicles. Whether you are clay shooting or hunting, and whether you have a bike, trike, cart, smart car, etc... if you are not happy with the way you carry your shotgun today check out the pictures below and find your solution.
Aventon, Rad, Velotric
These three bikes are regulars on the Sporting Clays seen around eastern MN and western WI. This picture taken in front of the clubhouse at Game Unlimited in Hudson, WI home of the 2026 U.S. Open.
Heybike
This Heybike resides in Florida so watch for it on the courses there. These are compact folding bikes that also have a nice wide step through.
Lectric XP4
This Lectric bike hails from Wisconsin and this picture was taken at the Ironman 400. The foldability of this bike and the easy removal feature of the scabbard meant the owner could drive to this event in his car rather than pulling a trailer and SxS with a truck.
Velotric
More trikes are popping up in 2026. This one is in Georgia. Trikes offer more payload and a stable seat when you pull up to the station. Although they are more difficult to transport and potentially not as good on uneven ground. We are starting to see this larger frame style of trike becoming more popular.
Aventon
Here is another Aventon. You may have seen this bike at the 2026 Jack Links. The owner reports he put 70 miles on the bike during that one event alone!
e-Scooter
We are starting to see more of these e-scooters now. They work great when the ground is reasonably flat and level. The owner of this scooter likes it so much he has two scooters (and two scabbards).
Honda Rukus
The Honda Rukus is a small gas powered scooter and is becoming more and more popular at sporting clays events. These scooters are road worthy providing definite dual use for a lot of owners. This Rukus owner from Minnesota shows us how it is done!
Golf Cart (rear mount)
This golf cart owner in Florida decided to mount his scabbards to the rear framing. Notice how he removed the clamps and mounted them permanently by utilizing the infinite adjustability of the "L" brackets and existing holes in the frame. The owner reports extremely easy access to the guns while keeping them secure.
Golf Cart
This golf cart resides in Iowa. The flexible mounting clamps on our scabbards mean they can mount to almost anything and are easily removed in just a few seconds for sporting clays. Although this particular cart is privately owned, a great application for our scabbards is to use on the rental carts at your local club.
Cycleboard
Not a bike.... but electric still the same. This cycleboard resides in Florida where it works perfectly on the trails of the clays courses there. This picture was taken at the Florida State shoot 2026. There aren't many of these around so stop and get a closer look if you see one.
Backou
This Bakou is the the bike of one of the turkey hunters who have found EbikeScabbards to work as well in the field as on the course. This one is in New Jersey.
KTM 500
We all know e-bikes are great but this Minnesota sporting clays shooter decided that his KTM 500 gas powered enduro motorcycle was what he needed to get around the course. And he has been loving it. (He did have to buy a special clamp to mount to the larger fork tube of the motorcycle.)
Smart Car
With a little imagination our scabbards can be mounted on just about anything. This smart car resides in Virginia and was spotted in this picture at the 2024 World Fitasc.
Freego
This is gang of Freego "Shotgun F3s". They are from Iowa but you will find them at major shoots around the country. These are a different class of bike all together with suspension front and rear and dual motors. Not even the bark covered muddy hills at the 2024 World FITASC in WI could slow them down.
Bike Trailer
In another example of the wide variety of mounting options made possible by our universal clamp system, this Wisconsin sporting clays shooter decided to mount his scabbard to a trailer behind his bike.
Lectric
This is a Lectric 3.0 based in Pennsylvania but also hitting big shoots on the east coast. This bike along with its predecessor the Lectric 2.0 are probably the most widely used bike out there for sporting clays. The combination of price point, portability, and step through design has appealed to a lot of clays shooters.
Rad Power Bikes
This is one of Rad Power Bikes' newer models, the Radrunner 3, and resides in Colorado. You will notice the rear mounted basket on this bike. These baskets are an option on most cargo type bikes and are a nice feature when it comes to carrying your shooting bag around the course.
Co-op
This is a Co-op bike from REI and is another example of our scabbards in use for bird hunting. This pheasant hunter resides in Oregon state.
Rad Power Bikes
This is my own "RadRunner 2" (foreground) from Rad Power. The features I like are that it is compact so reasonably easy to transport. It is one of the few step through ebikes out there which is great for getting on and off throughout the day. The twist throttle is easy to operate.
Rambo Savage 2.0
This bike from Rambo resides in WI where the owner uses it for both clay shooting and bird hunting. Although the EbikeScabbard mounts just fine to the front of the bike, this particular customer decided to forgo the included mounting clamps and mount the scabbard directly to threaded bosses at the rear. It’s a great example of the versatile mounting options the eBikeScabbard offers.
Stroller
This clays shooter in southern Wisconsin uses his EbikeScabbard on an old stroller when out for a leisurely round of trap or skeet. And when shooting sporting clays he attaches it to his bike.
